Thrissur – Ponnai Nooraditodu

This project of ours aims to increase the irrigation capacity of the Malabar region. Under normal circumstances, the region can irrigate only in one season due to the scarcity of water. The structures we build ‘bandu’ along Adatt panchayath Thrissur to Ponnai taluk at Malappuram District. Nooradithodukal (100 ft. streams) is build so that water can be stored for irrigation in other seasons. The project has already started showing results as irrigation has increased from 10 to 80 %. It is expected to reach 100 % in the next 2 years. The project was carried out for Kerala Land Development Co-Operation Limited under PV Johny Pallipadam
